Fully Booked on Christmas Season
What I don't like a bit about Holidays is the rush for seats on boats, ships or fast crafts. If you working away from home like me, celebrating Christmas alone away from the family would surely be devastating. In my experience, I was unable to go home for Christmas for the two previous years because of work demand. It's good to know that for this year, I won't be spending it alone anymore. My vacation leave requests have been approved for December 23 and 26 so I will be home from then.
However, it's not an assurance that one can get home as soon as you want. There will be problems like fully booked boats and weather change. There was a recent storm which hit the country and which had caused a severe damage to the country. I am referring to the storm named Sendong. Of course you must have known about that killer storm. Anyway, these are just matters we can't handle and we can't do anything about it.
My Christmas Presents Ready
Here are the gifts I purchased way before and a couple of days ago and were finished wrapping yesterday. I am happy I could share my blessings to those people I love. I have gifts for my godchildren as well and of course for my little niece, Aiesha. There are still a couple of people whom I haven't bought gifts yet, I will try to buy something for them before I go home in December 23. Well, hopefully I could get to do it while still able to manage my time with work and sleep.
Merry Christmas to everyone in advance. I know we think of gift giving when we talk about Christmas but I pray that each of us will be reminded of the right reason why there is Christmas.
Oslob Style Carol Over Dumaguete's Buko Pie
Last weekend, right after we bought some groceries from Fooda Mambaling branch, we went straight to Oslob because it was their town fiesta. It was like months when I last went there and I was kinda excited because I will be seeing my godchild, Shaika (guess I have introduced her to you before).
It was a bummer because I slept early on Saturday night so I was not able to roam around the town during it's feast day. They said there was a live band disco that night but I stay lying in bed the whole night, I woke up at three in the morning having a feeling that it was still seven in the evening.
SPX Christmas Party 2011 at Mountain View
December is my second favorite month of year because parties and gift giving is happening all month long, I find it really pleasing to my eyes. In line with that, our team just had our Christmas party yesterday. I know its very early knowing it's still the first week of the December. It was intentionally planned this way because of the drastic changes that our account is experiencing right now.
See most of the team mates are going to another account next week and that made the party that early. The truth is that our team had gone through some emotional challenges because of the transfer that had happen, most of the people who were transferred are those who had been with the account for more than five years. They had already considered the account as their second home and it was really painful leaving the support. It had become their comfort zones, though it was really unacceptable they got no other choice than to leave and move on. Change is really inevitable especially in this type of job, I am just blessed that I was not included in the transfer.

Thanksgiving, Anniversary and Christmas Party all in one!
This was my last Christmas Party for this year, I have joined four Christmas Parties this year including My Team's, Sykes', PlanetBiz' and GCBC's just yesterday, Decenmber 26, 2010. This event is quite special for me because I had grown up with this kind of even every year and this year, it is our church's 20th anniversary. Since I was a child, I would always attend this, I just missed one time last year because of my work. But I am happy this year because I was able to take a vacation leave and attended the said event.
Things had change since the last time that I had attended it, first is the time, ever since before the event would usually start at either 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon but yesterday, it started early at 10:00 in the morning. A Sunday service started the event
After the service, lunch was served and was prayed over by Nong Nestor.
Games were played between children and the youth (Young ones).

| The Children's games made the audiences applaud, laugh and shout. Parents were all excited about their children on the spot playing. Winners and the losers still received prizes! |

| They played two games, first was the most common Trip to Jerusalem and the other one was a bit challenging, Verse Arrangement. |
We also had our exchanging gifts and the most exciting part was the raffle draw. Exciting prizes awaited for the last three, no not just three but six! I can still remember before, the raffle draw only gives three prizes but now, there were already six persons who can get their prizes if their names will be picked last.
Luckily, these are the people who were lucky enough to be picked last!

The said event ended at almost 6 in the afternoon or shall I say night? Every one also had brought with them their "Bring Home", lols...
I could say that the event was a success! Blessed and full of God's Grace and Mercy. His faithfulness endures forever and ever. Until next year!
