Where to Dine in Bantayan
Sta. If you are on a tight budget, you can eat at local restaurants instead where the viands are priced as low as Php 5. They are situated in the market place of course.
When we went to Bantayan last month, we were not able to dine into the mentioned restaurants because we were bonded on our food budget, besides these food houses offer all you can eat buffets and we were not there to just eat but to enjoy the beach, we took time at Virgin Island and in the shores of Budyong Beach Resort. Food was not really our first priority; we cooked our own breakfast and dinner. We ordered our lunch from the resort which composed of lechon or roasted whole pig and the hanging rice, we call it puso. However, we managed to try the special halo halo served at Le Petit Bonheur.
