The Game Called Planking

A new game is becoming famous now a days,
you might have seen some guys or even girls out there lying face down
with the hands touching the sides of the body then one of their friends
will take their photographs and post it in the internet, if you had, then you have
already seen an actual enactment of the game called planking. I
personally have seen their fan page and their photos are all published there.
You will be surprised with how these guys, mostly are college students
had made effort in planking anywhere, in the streets, in schools, in the malls and anywhere which may look unique. Check some

Planking has been a worldwide game today, it is commonly known as
playing dead, on one's belly or face down. The term planking is
described as the practice of lying down flat with arms to the side, to
mimic a wooden plank and players compete to find the most unusual and
original location. Their photos are posted all over the internet, most especially in Facebook where millions of people are subscribed to.
But one question, do you like what they are doing? I know they are
just having fun and I respect that but I am wondering if these guys know that this act has
been used as a way of transporting slaves on ship during the slave
trade.
According to ate wiki, this game has been compared with the slave
trade-era practice and manner of stowing African slaves upon the planks
of a slave ship's lower hold. This I found not really funny at all, I hope they
will soon be educated about it and will eventually do some other things
worthwhile.
