Beltran Family Stays at JJ's Seafood Village
My brothers Jonas and Steven went to Dubai last Saturday, before they flew there, we had our small family "despidida" party. Friday noon, we met at JJ's Seafood Village and checked in. We were there for a one night stay. The resort has an affordable room for families and they have a swimming pool too!
I reserved one dormitory type room for eight people and my niece is already free since she is still two years old. It was not that big but it was enough for the eight of us, there were more than eight beds inside, maximum number of heads is up to sixteen and there were four cubicles for the comfort room.
Staying there gave us access to:
- Free use of swimming pool
- Free use of function room with sound system
- Stand-by waiter
- Fully air-conditioned room with own bath and CR, Cable TV
- Stand-by hot and cold purified drinking water
- Fax and internet that will surely be available upon request
- Garden and playground patio for relaxation
- WI-FI hot spot for free
We had made use of those facilities yet we never were able to get the stand-by hot and cold purified drinking water. I never saw any stand by water dispenser or anything. We asked for it from the front desk however, they offered us their 1 liter bottled water for Php 60, which for me was very costly. That was like twice the original price, we never bought one, since there was no corkage fee if you bring food inside, we just buy food from outside. However, we ate at their Mandarin Restaurant before we checked out.

We spent much time in the swimming pool that night, we started at seven and went back to our room at ten already. We had some photo-shoot there too before we went to the lovers lane in K of C.
They have a lot of clients there too, since the resort caters ceremonies and other activities like weddings and seminars. In fact, when we were there a debut celebration was held. There was another seminar as well from the people of Davao.
Over all, the place was nice, ambiance is good and though their food is a bit costly, who cares when you can bring food from outside corkage-free?
