December is my second favorite month of year because parties and gift giving is happening all month long, I find it really pleasing to my eyes. In line with that, our team just had our Christmas party yesterday. I know its very early knowing it's still the first week of the December. It was intentionally planned this way because of the drastic changes that our account is experiencing right now.
See most of the team mates are going to another account next week and that made the party that early. The truth is that our team had gone through some emotional challenges because of the transfer that had happen, most of the people who were transferred are those who had been with the account for more than five years. They had already considered the account as their second home and it was really painful leaving the support. It had become their comfort zones, though it was really unacceptable they got no other choice than to leave and move on. Change is really inevitable especially in this type of job, I am just blessed that I was not included in the transfer.

Anyway, enough for the drama here, let's talk about how our party went through yesterday. The event was held at Mountain View in Busay, Cebu. The weather was perfect and the venue was really cool. I had been to the place before in college for the DOST Scholars' Association-CIT chapter team building. The place was a huge one, there are a lot of nice areas we can take a photo with however, we only stayed at one spot during the entire party and that's the swimming pool. We rented the area near the pool for Php 1500. What's nice was that James' team had their own team party also in the same date at the same place. What a coincidence indeed!
We were fetched by the resort's own L300 van for Php 400 and reached there at two in the afternoon. Supposedly, we have to be there at one but due to some circumstances, we reached there an hour late. But it was never too late for the party because once we reached there; we ate our late lunch right away. After lunch, we played charades which made our all of us laughed our hearts and lungs out. It was really memorable! Photos below can tell how happy we were during the game.

The game committee had prepared five games actually but only one had been realized, bummer! Anyway, we had our exchanged gifts afterward. This was the highlight. As a matter of fact, a week before the event we already had our wish lists written on our wish list board.
And I wished for a new dance pad because my old one broke, one key stopped functioning. I am glad my team lead got my name as his Manita and bought me this new dance pad!
It was a joyful day and we spent the rest of the time at the pool, doing stunts and cheer leading positions. We went home at nine in the evening. This will be my first Christmas party for the month and I am looking forward for more Christmas parties...
